Do you need people to pray for you today?

I am so blessed to know that many disciple-minded people read this blog every day.  As a result of that I’d like to begin taking advantage of this wonderful technology and do something meaningful with it.

Please allow folks from around the country to pray for you.  It’s a blessing to know that people are praying for you…specifically….with intention.

In the comments section below, please let us know how we can be praying for you (your family, your ministry, etc…).  Then really leave these concerns with The Father.  Watch Him do what only He can.  Give Him complete liberty to deal with the things we bring to Him today.  Be blessed.

I’ll start.  I have a several personnel / staffing issues at the forefront today.  I desperately need God’s perspective.

Your turn….

I have two. First, I desperately need a new job, something closer to home and with a better management team. My attitude here stinks, and hard as I try it’s really a struggle to bring glory to God through my performance.

Second, Jamie and I are in a waiting mode on a decision we’re trying to make for our family….except I’m not certain if we’re waiting for God’s direction, or just waiting for me to accept the direction God is pointing us. Please pray for clarity and conviction for both of us, and God’s blessing on our family as a result!

Please pray for a dear family from our church who lost their home in a fire tonight. Their names are Glenn and Edith. They weren’t home at the time of the fire. They are tremendous servants who have taken up residence with her brother to care for him. He was sent home recently with hospice care. They’ve got a lot going on in their lives right now, and they know the awesome power of prayer. Please lift them up before The Father.

My wife - a new mother for a total of 11 days now - got a bad stomach virus yesterday afternoon that sent us to the ER for meds and a bag of fluids. My prayer is that she recovers well and none of us - especially our son - get sick.
