This week HALEY needs to go, but her legs may just save her one more time. Hopefully this tactic will not work much longer. Joining her at the bottom will be Phil, who is the other contestant in the most danger now.
If they bring out a third, I actually think Melinda’s a possibility this week. She has not changed the overall style of the songs she’s done since we hit the top 12, and I’m not certain it’s changed since the 24 were chosen. Don’t get me wrong, I think she is one of the top two singers on the show (Lakisha being the other), but I am just bored to tears with her now. IMHO, if she doesn’t try something a little more out of her comfort zone soon, she really could be in danger.
I’m still rooting for the boot for Sanjaya, but I don’t think he deserves it this week. He’s definitely entertaining, and if I were a teen again, last night’s performance would have inspired a phone call. But maybe next week my dream will come true.
