Conservatives “Walk the Walk”

A Syracuse University study has shown that liberals talk a good line about caring for the needs of people, but conservatives put their money where their mouth is!  Can’t say that I’m shocked by this finding.

What I’ve always wondered is now confirmed!  Tiger Woods and Lorena Ochoa were tagged by the Associated Press as the male and female athletes of the year respectively.

Which means that if I can just get my long irons worked out, there’s hope for me in 2007!

Deer Season ‘06

How did you do this year?  We had a very good couple of weeks!  My younger son, Alex, harvested a mature doe during youth firearm season in October.  Carroll Ewing, my father-in-law, took his very first deer ever with his muzzleloader (open sights!) during the first Illinois firearm season.  My older son Paul got the biggest doe I’ve ever seen during the second Illinois firearm season.  I took a mature doe on Friday evening of the second firearm season, then this bruiser stepped out on Saturday afternoon.  Tell us your story!
